This summer DripDrop is proud to be a sponsor of Take Steps for Crohn’s and Colitis, hosted by the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA).
CCFA is a non-profit, volunteer organization whose mission is “to cure Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, and improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases.”
Dehydration can be a huge concern for people that suffer from gastrointestinal (GI) conditions like Short Bowel and Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative Colitis. Diarrhea is one of the most common symptoms that often lead to hospitalization and IV treatment.
"People like me with GI disease, (especially patients with ostomies or ileo-pouches), often find themselves in the hospital having to receive fluids. It’s so easy for us to get dehydrated that we need a hydration solution that works. DripDrop really works. Period. And it actually tastes good,” Sara Ringer, IBD Advocate & DripDrop Ambassador.
