DripDrop’s Fast Hydration Tour: Nashville, TN Recap

We hit the road this summer to bring the delicious taste and fast hydrating power of DripDrop across the country. After our first stop in Austin, TX, we headed to Nashville, TN, where our local Thirst Responder Anida introduced us to the vibrant local community.

For three months, our team drip dropped all around the Music City sponsoring major events and supporting local athletic organizations and run clubs like Cooldown Running, Nolensville Running Club, East Nasty Run Club, We’re Not Really Runners, and more. During our stay, we handed out over 250,000 product samples to more than 90 organizations such as firehouses, athletic groups, grocery stores, and events, spreading our mission of fast hydration.

We had tons of fun getting involved with the city’s local communities and left feeling like honorary Nashvillians. Here are just some of our highlights from our time in the Music City!

Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon

This annual running series that takes place throughout the country brought 20,000 people to Nashville this year. Runners cruised past legendary landmarks in Nashville, including Music Row, Broadway, and the Country Music Hall of Fame. DripDrop attended the 2-day Health and Fitness expo ahead of the run to help individuals hydrate and prepare for the big event.

USA Women’s Half Marathon

Participants gathered at the gorgeous Gaylord Opryland Resort to “Run Like a Girl” and demonstrate the diversity and power of womanhood during this Music City event. Racers were welcomed to the finish line at the Grand Ole Opry House with luxurious prizes including a continental breakfast buffet, champagne mimosas, massages, Lululemon shirts, and custom Kendra Scott necklaces. DripDrop was thrilled to be involved in the post-race pampering and offered much-needed fast hydration to the accomplished runners.

CMA Fest

One of the biggest country music festivals in the U.S., the four-day CMA Fest hosted by the Country Music Association brings in 90,000+ people per day. As the Official Hydration Sponsor, DripDrop provided complimentary onsite hydration stations with free water and delicious DripDrop samples to keep people cool and hydrated in the heat of a Tennessee summer. The lineup for this year’s event included big names like Luke Bryan, Little Big Town, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Post Malone, Keith Urban, Shaboozey, and more.

Cornelia Airpark Concert

These community-driven concerts take place once a month from May through August, inviting local musical artists to take the stage inside the old airport hanger. Concertgoers setup camping chairs and seating to enjoy the show in a unique, historic setting. DripDrop participated in the event as a local sponsor, providing free hydration and samples to attendees.

Let Freedom Sing Music City

Downtown Nashville welcomes more than 200,000 locals and visitors for one of the largest 4th of July festivals in the country. The Let Freedom Sing Music City event took standard Independence Day fanfare to the next level with an extravagant fireworks display synchronized with a live performance by the Nashville Symphony. As an official sponsor, DripDrop kept people cool and hydrated as they celebrated and enjoyed musical performances.

Tomato Art Festival

An event that started as a small community affair has grown to a beloved festival attracting 70,000 people over two days. Started in 2003 to “unite fruits and vegetables,” the Tomato Art Festival is a quirky culmination of art, music, culture, and food. Participants celebrate by dressing in costume, attending art shows and parades, participating in contests, and enjoying the entertainment. To help Nashvillians brave the blistering August heat, DripDrop officially sponsored the Cooldown Zone, where people could beat the heat and experience the refreshing, delicious, fast-hydrating power of DripDrop.

We’re sad to say goodbye to the Music City, but our time there hit all the right notes! While this part of the tour might be over, the beat goes on: Our last stop on the 2024 Fast Hydration Tour is Denver, CO. Follow us on Instagram to stay up-to-date to events and progress, and keep an eye out for the DripDrop van in your city!
