The Syrian Refugee Crisis in the Mediterranean displaced over 2.7 million people. Refugees began living in camps along the Greek coastline. The lack of food and water on their long journeys, combined with the Mediterranean sun, quickly led to widespread dehydration and associated complications.
Dr. Dolhun and a team of relief workers traveled to four camps in Greece. They provided critical medical aid and oral rehydration therapy with DripDrop to adults and children in the refugee community suffering from dehydration due to infectious diarrhea, heat, and lack of food and water.
