The Choice of Firefighters for Reliable Hydration

Scorching heat, crushing physical effort, and heavy gear mean firefighters face a heightened and frequent risk of dehydration and heat-related injuries. At DripDrop, we believe dehydration should never impede firefighters’ ability to get the job done or compromise their safety.

Dehydration is a safety hazard

An OC Fire Authority study noted, “improper re-hydration can negatively impact performance and decision-making… critical components of the firefighting profession.” At the more extreme end of the risk spectrum, active firefighters face frequent risk of severe Exertional Heat Illness (EHI) which can be life-threatening and require medical attention.

REVIEWS FROM THE FIELD

“Firefighters exert an extraordinary amount of energy responding to wildfires, and dehydration is a very serious threat to their health and safety. We're pleased to partner with DripDrop to provide dehydration relief to our volunteer firefighters so they're able to respond at their best.”

NVFC Chair Steve Hirsch

“Love it! I've used DripDrop in the field when I was in the military. Now as a firefighter it's my go-to after a draining call. Nothing else I've tried even compares. I feel like a new man after rehydrating with DripDrop. It really is like getting an IV.”

Jacob

“DripDrop is awesome! Being a firefighter/paramedic for almost 38 years, I haven’t come across a better product than this. The other drinks I've used after incidents never really gave me relief. DripDrop is great hydration and helps you feel great in a shorter amount of time after an incident.”

The DripDrop Difference

Must Have Sodium

When it comes to dehydration, not all electrolytes are created equal. Sodium is key electrolyte necessary to pull fluids and other electrolytes into your bloodstream. But sodium has a tough time getting through the small intestine on its own. It needs a little glucose to speed absorption.

A Little Glucose

Pairing sodium with a little glucose helps fluids and electrolytes pass rapidly from your intestines into your bloodstream via the sodium-glucose cotransport system. With the right ratio of sodium and glucose, water absorption can increase by 2-3x into your body.

Low Osmolarity

DripDrop keep the particles in our solution (i.e. osmolarity) low. Why? For optimal efficacy and speed. Fewer particles equals speedier absorption, so you can feel better faster.

Unmatchable Flavor

Making a rehydration solution that works this well taste this good isn't easy. Without compromising efficacy, DripDrop provides great-tasting dehydration relief.
