Mission Timeline:
Where We Show Up With DripDrop and Save Lives

When IV therapy isn't an option, dehydration can be life-threatening. At the edge of a wildfire, in a remote village, after a hurricane destroys local medical facilities—that's where we show up with DripDrop and save lives.

2021/ In partnership with the Foundation For International Medical Relief of Children (FIMRC) we provided clinical care and relief from widespread dehydration associated with infectious disease to many living below the poverty line.

Ethiopia 2021

In Ethiopia, an unstable security situation marked by violence and population displacement means communities face acute and chronic food insecurity, disruption of basic healthcare services and infectious diseases.

In partnership with International Medical Corps, we distributed 175k sticks of DripDrop to help Ethiopians facing dehydration due to diarrheal disease and other illnesses from contaminated water, poor sanitation and hygiene.

Panama 2021

In the indigenous Ngäbe communities, within the Bocas del Toro region of Panama, many people face acute dehydration due to poor water consumption and high incidence of diarrheal disease.

As part of their effort to help reduce the present and future burden of disease in the developing world, Floating Doctors set up clinics throughout this region to provide medical support. At these clinics, DripDrop was distributed as both a treatment for chronic dehydration and to supplement patient education. In six months, Floating Doctors treated 2,792 patients suffering from dehydration with DripDrop.

Mayfield, KY 2021

On the night of December 10th, a series of tornadoes ravaged through 6 states and dozens of towns. The aftermath was devastating, with widespread damage leaving many without homes, access to clean water and the everyday resources they need.

In response, DripDrop partnered with Global Empowerment Mission to help those in the communities affected by the deadly tornadoes by providing DripDrop within GEM’s B-Strong family necessity kits, as well as supplied to rescue workers taking part in the critical relief efforts.

Campeche, MX 2021

Our founder, Dr. Dolhun, invented DripDrop while on a mission trip to defeat life-threatening dehydration. We remain steadfast in our commitment to supporting communities not only through product donations, but with boots on the ground.

In November, Dr. Dolhun, touched down in the port city of Campeche, Mexico for an exploratory mission alongside the Red Cross that took Dr. Dolhun to rural villages across the region - building relationships and delivering dehydration relief and medical aid to communities in need in the country where he was born.

Firefighters 2021

The National Interagency Fire Center reported that in 2021 a crushing 2.5 million acres have already succumbed to large fires across 12 US states. For wildland firefighters carrying 50lbs of equipment while battling flames as hot as 1,472℉, dehydration is a critical safety concern.

After years of driving DripDrop from our California office to active wildfire sites, we began a long-term partnership with the National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) to distribute sticks to volunteer firefighters across the US. In 2021, we shipped over 200,000 sticks to crews in need of dehydration relief fast.

Miami 2021

After a catastrophic apartment building collapse in Miami, sweltering conditions made dehydration a real risk to both displaced victims, and tireless heroes leading round-the-clock search-and-rescue efforts in heavy gear.

In partnership with Global Empowerment Mission, DripDrop was included in the over 250 family necessity kits delivered to survivors. Additionally, we provided sticks to mission-critical workers and volunteers assisting in exhaustive recovery efforts.

Venezuela 2021

In Venezuela, poor nutrition, combined with lack of access to proper sanitation and clean drinking water, leads to waterborne infections that can cause severe, life-threatening dehydration.

In partnership with International Medical Corps, we distributed 120,000 sticks of DripDrop to the Dr. Jesús Reggeti Outpatient Clinic in Miranda state—the primary health facility in El Hatillo municipality that serves as the first line of care for its 95,000+ residents.

St Vincent's Volcano 2021

Residents of the Caribbean island of St. Vincent faced dangerous dehydration after a major volcanic explosion compromised and completely cut off water supplies in some areas.

With our partners, Global Empowerment Mission and B-Strong, we distributed family necessities kits (including DripDrop) to various shelters throughout the region, and worked with Cultural Ambassadors to hand-deliver these critical-care kits directly to homes.

Zimbabwe 2021

Devastating and prolonged drought in Zimbabwe means vulnerable communities are without safe drinking water. Here, cholera outbreaks and chronic diarrhea routinely result in life-threatening dehydration.

Our ongoing partnership with International Medical Corps allows us the opportunity to help decrease the staggering number of dehydration-related deaths. This year we distributed an additional 75,000 sticks of DripDrop to 134 health facilities in Zimbabwe.

Texas 2021

Millions of Texans faced dehydration after a massive storm caused catastrophic failure of the state’s power grid, leaving many without safe water at home and grocery shelves bare.

In partnership with Global Empowerment Mission through B-Strong, we delivered over 60,000 sticks of DripDrop, knitted into survival kits, to those in need.

USA COVID Ongoing Response 2021

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, our healthcare and military heroes have grinded through long, grueling and more dehydrating shifts under layers of protective gear.

To support taxed frontline workers, we partnered with Krucial Staffing to get 10,000 sticks of DripDrop to doctors and nurses in New York and Texas, as well as members of the National Guard and US Armed Forces who were both recovering from COVID and providing patient care.
